"A big thanks to Grant Spooner and all at Marine Scene for the incredible work they did for us on the Chanel shoot. It was not an easy job, as we had some very dangerous logistic's to deal with. Adding to that was that we had the Olympian diver, Hugo Parisis. But the shooting went off without a hitch, and Grant had total control of all the elements in the water. It was a pleasure to work with you, and thanks for being part of our clients being so happy."

"Hey Spooner Team, A huge thank you to you guys, as always exceeded expectations, and this time under some pretty indecisive conditions so great hustling thank you. And I must say, Grants safety briefing gave me goose bumps, on my goose bumps! Legends."

"My dealings with Marine Scene Both from Mediclinic, Geoff Bettison Consulting and Medics in Motion have been a level of safety, experience and professionalism. When working with Marine Scene, I know that I can relax due to the way that Grant Spooner and his team execute the D M Plan that has been compiled with precision. Marine Scene oozes passion when on set or at an event. I have personally worked with Grant Spooner on numerous large events and movie sets, namely Red Bull Big Wave Africa, Red Bull Cape Town Man, Cadiz Freedom Swims, O’Neill Cold Water Classic surfing events, Challenge Cape Town triathlon plus many more. It is a pleasure to work with an organized marine company that is passionate about what they stand for."

"We had the pleasure to work with Grant and his team at Marine Scene on a big action surf movie, Blue Crush 2. During our seventy days spent on the open ocean, Marine scene took care of everything. They were always safe, reliable and fast. We could not have succeeded without them. And they were a joy to work with everyday. They love their jobs and it shows. We would ask Marine Scene to join us anywhere in the world."

Mike Elliot - Film Director/Producer BLUE CRUSH 2

“Marine Scene came on board for the Billabong Pro in Jeffreys Bay in 2011 for the first time. The primary purpose of Marine Scene’s involvement was to provide a secure, elevated platform for the cameramen filming for the events worldwide broadcast. The secondary purpose was to provide a platform for still photographers that formed a part of the media contingent for the event. Grant and his crew did a phenomenal job in managing this process; from their professional approach through to their positioning in the line-up to ensure the best shots were secured. Their understanding of the ocean and respect for the competitors was clearly evident and any entry/exits into the competition area were always dealt with impeccably. Safety was always absolute front of mind with Marine Scene which is a critical aspect of the service they deliver and Grant was constantly looking at all angles to ensure this was well covered. Their ‘no bridge too far’ attitude and absolute stoke and enthusiasm for the job made it a pleasure to work with them and we will certainly look to grow their involvement going forward. I can highly recommend the services of Marine Scene.”
